'100 % Fresh Handwork' makes Thomas Endel one of todays juggling greats. As a multiskilled circus entertainer, Thomas displays artistry and technical difficulty in not only juggling, but dancing and even stand up comedy. Of Thomas's 5 different acts, "Elliptic Design" is one of the most unique, and a novelty even in the juggling scene.  “It looks kind of like as if somebody were to play billiard in a telephone booth. ” 3, 4 and 5 balls make various patterns while criss-crossing and bouncing on up to 8 sidewalls before they fly back into the hands of Thomas Endel on seemingly invisible rails. An art form which is 4000 years old rarely experiences innovations today. Jugglers ladle from the deep well of this art and present possible variations. With "Elliptic Design", Thomas Endel sheds an entirely new light on this old art form. With much effort he designed a rectangular show-case and began to experiment with juggling balls that bounce. After spending 6 years developing this sensational invention he presented it for the first time in 2001 in the 'Scala Variety Show'.

With this act Thomas Endel walked away with 2nd prize at the “Top Level Variety Show” of the Lion's Club 2000, and in 2001, at the “Krystal Palace Variety” International Variety Competition, he captured 1st prize. Despite the incredible difficultly, Thomas's skills come across as playfully easy. Inspired by the pace and character of the music, Thomas has perfected his style of choreography in which every movement and every throw is coordinated and accentuated to create a vision rhythm and precision. Over time, the choreography, the music and Thomas's own disposition have all been refined to form a stage personality whose vitality is a true celebration of juggling as high art.
